Note: this is not a thread to gripe about the dice. This is for people who understand that you can just get a really bad (or good) roll by random chance alone. I just thought it could be interesting to share remarkably good or bad rolls, as a reminder that you can't always predict how things will go down.

I just got owned in a capitals game, and I feel I need to share:

Chorrera (Doug1991) attacks Balboa (scaldwell17) conquering it, killing 36 troops, losing 15.
scaldwell17 has been defeated by Doug1991.

I'm not even mad, that'd just impressive. The kicker is I could have moved the turn before, but I thought I'd wait a round to be safe. Bad choice.

I once lost a 36 vs 14 fight - and I had attacker's dice :)

So losing 27 attacking 11 isn't tooo bad until you realize that by not being able to kill this last country, I couldn't get his cards for a set of 70 and left him weak for the remaining player. Yeah, i'm screwed in that game.

I think these attacker dice were great even though I lost because of my defense dice.

Volcan (MuzuaneAskari) attacks Almirante (Fendi) conquering it, killing 33 troops, losing 8.

I had a frustrating one had 10 to kill 1 on his cap couldn't get it done... ouch

After what Fendi said I wouldn't like you thought that lately I have good luck with dice, because in my opinion it's completely the opposite (hehe, I guess like everyone else here), but to be honest I have to say that when dice come to support me they do it pretty well. These rolls were in a game that it was already won, but that doesn't mean they are not impressive:

18 May, 06:58 Brazil (MuzuaneAskari) attacks North Africa (lordriskmaster) killing 20 troops, losing 16.
18 May, 06:58 Venezuela (MuzuaneAskari) attacks Brazil (lordriskmaster) conquering it, killing 21 troops, losing 7.
18 May, 06:57 Central America (MuzuaneAskari) attacks Venezuela (lordriskmaster) conquering it, killing 30 troops, losing 8.

And the answer of the owners will be:

'Yep; that is possible; it's called randomness ..............'.

Only a pity that too many are so frustrated by this dicebehaviour and that the owners don't act on it by using (or at least let the players choose to use !!) dice that are a bit in favour of tactical players (biased dice). For the odds that dice like these occur are really unreal but happen so often. It's like having 500 times red and then 500 times black in the casino. After 1000 turns is equal, but the behaviour is unreal. Especially when you have 2 dices defending; losing 6, 7 of 8 and killing 0 happens so often .......

I always say: not do I wanna win by those unreal dice, nor do I wanna loose by them.

And as long this gamesite has no biased dice (at least to be choosen bij the player) I will never pay for this site. It just kills all the fun .......... and marks it as a gamesite where luck rules and not the tactics.

Apart from the fact that the good players win more than the bad players (even the dice you hate so much don't stop that), it is on our todo list. Complaining about it every day is not going to get it there faster.
Everyone here is a volunteer and does as much as he feels like doing. So lets just keep this game fun for everyone could you?

Also, this topic is not for complainers like you, but for ppl who want to show off their cool stats.

This is not the place to complain about dice, we have numerous other threads to do that, so please don't.

It was a desperate move on a capital as it was, but didn't imagine it would fail quite that spectacularly
